All,
First off, awesome program. I switched recently to your software due to issues from my previous setup.
I have the following setup...
1. Windows 10 Install
2. SBFSpot triggered by batch file every 2 minutes
3. I am issuing a simple spot data + daily data request, nothing else
4. I am new at SBFSpot but all works well when it works. I have no issues with PVOutput nor SBFSpot while running properly.
5. Inverters are Qty 2 - SB6.0-1SP-US-40 (the new ones) on firmware FW2-02-12R (latest)
6. All communications are hardwired Ethernet to/from PC to both inverters
Issue...
1. At random times the communication request hangs. When the -v switch is issued it shows in the command prompt that the inverters responded with serial number information, but nothing else. It simply hangs after the initial communication to/from the inverters.
Possible Reason Why...
1. I suspect the inverter is communicating to the Sunny portal at the same time as the SBFSpot request and is simply busy. As a result it gives SBFSpot the middle finger.
Current Resolution...
1. I close the command prompt, restart, and all is well until another random interval.
Question...
1. Is there any error handling of stalled communications in SBFSpot to cancel and restart the communication request? Since I am using a batch file I thought about a time out/error handling in my batch file. I am unclear if this already exist in the SBFSpot code.
Comments: Any update on this?
